Now why in the world is there a page about gardening on this website?!!
At first it may not seem to fit, but it does on several levels.
Designing, planting and growing plants is therapeutic, and everyone needs more relief from stress. Additionally, these particular baskets and planters are gentle to the environment, long lasting and easier to maintain than plants in the ground.
They use way less water, potting mix, space and money.
For a brick and mortar business and municipalities, there is no better way to provide flower color to areas and I’m happy to teach you how to plant them, design projects for you or even handle your planting projects. Let’s chat! Or you can do it yourself:

Growing a garden in Bloom Master baskets and planters in the easiest, most efficient system I have used! No kneeling, digging in the dirt, little weed pulling, minimal bug issues and they take up little space and use very little potting mix or water. All the while, these baskets and planters look fabulous!
Planting Bloom Master baskets and planters is very easy. If you have ever planted a moss basket and wanted to punch someone, you will love using Bloom Master baskets and planters. There are a few tricks to make them work, which are on my youtube channel to help you. The planters need some assembly, but are simple. Just bend them slowly and hopefully not when they are cold and you should not have any problems. The potting mix is pre-moistened so it will not fall out of the holes when planting. plants can either be put through the holes blossom or roots first depending on which end is smaller, to protect each plant.
I’ve been using Bloom Master baskets and planter boxes for 14 years. I’m still using some of the same baskets I bought 14 years ago! Here is what makes them different… the Bloom Master baskets I use are 14 inches in diameter, heavy green plastic that has UV protection so the plastic lasts. These baskets are engineered to maximize space within so the root systems grow in about 4 weeks which then encourages the plants to put their energy into growing leaves, blossoms and food. There are 30 octagon shaped holes in the sides, so you plant 30 plants out the sides, more or less, and another nine to twelve in the top. I generally plant 42 plants in a 14″ basket. Two of my favorite food growing options are strawberries or salsa baskets. In a salsa basket I will plant 4 tomato plants and 4 pepper plants and 4 herb plants. In a strawberry basket I will plant at least a dozen or more strawberry plants. You do not need to plant every hole, as about 3 days after planting the earth forms a crust in the holes and the potting pix does not fall out when watering. The holes in the 14″ baskets are beveled on the inside so when watering, the water stays inside the baskets to drain out the 3 bottom drainage holes. Perfectly efficient and beautiful!
The Bloom Master planter boxes also have octagon shaped holes in the sides, but because they have perpendicular sides, these holes have a lip on the inside and the outside to keep water and potting mix inside the planters, with drainage hole on the bottom, along the front. One Bloom Master planter box is 20″ x 8″ x 10″, with 42 holes in 2 sides, front and both sides. I generally plant 60 plants in one planter box. These planter boxes can also be connected to form 40″ or 60″, etcetera.
The most incredible project I have done to date was this one, you can see here in 3 stages of growth. There are 129 plants in this planter; 12 of which are tomato plants, 12 pepper plants and 12 herb plants and all the rest are glorious petunias, verbena and many more varieties of flowering plants.
This 40″ x 8″ x 10″ planter was 9 feet from the top to the bottom and over 7 feet wide! Fabulous!
Bloom Master baskets and planters can be used for gardening, for beautifying homes, businesses, parks, municipalities and more. They use very little water are quite easy to plant and provide stunning results which are only limited by your imagination! I was part of a project to beautify a city in rural Utah years ago, which won Most Beautiful City in Bloom that year, beating out Medford OR and Hershey PA, which are known for their flowers. Vernal UT has become a destination for tourists, who plan their trips around flower displays every year!
